Location History

The town of Greenville, Pennsylvania has a long industrial history dating back more than 100 years.

Walking along Main Street, you’ll arrive at a house that reminds you of Disney’s Haunted Mansion.

However, this is no movie! You’re standing at the steps of the intensely active Greenville Manor!

Greenville Manor was built in 1881 for T.C. Gibson, who was employed as a cutter in a shop. Gibson would later become a partner in, and then an owner of, his own clothing store in the Greenville area.

T.C. Gibson had two sons, Howard and Frank. Howard served in the military and died in 1930. Frank was a clothier who died in 1955. Frank established an award at Greenville High School in his father’s name.

Greenville Manor eventually became in possession of William McMillen, Sr., who learned the coffin building trade from his father, John. The “William McMillen and Son Funeral Home” was soon formed.

The funeral home operated for decades in the 1900’s to serve the needs of the Greenville area. The McMillen family lived upstairs where evidence of their tenure can still be seen inside the house today.

Greenville Manor later operated as a lodge meeting hall, then an attraction with a Christmas village and uniquely themed rooms.  After being abandoned, Greenville Manor was then sold to a private couple.

The Paranormal:

Greenville Manor is a haunted haven for the paranormal; boasting activity that is frequently intense! Once you enter the doors of this foreboding structure, the mixture of energy will hit you in waves!

Perhaps T.C. Gibson or one of his sons will be looking to greet you from the moment you step inside. One of the many members of the McMillen Family may be waiting for you upstairs in their former home.

Which spirits of the former funeral home might you encounter? Perhaps they’ll introduce themselves and share a story about what led them to their deaths, or why they continue to inhabit this building.

Will you be reprimanded for interrupting a secret lodge meeting from the past? Even in death, there may be some things that spirits fight hard to keep hidden. What information might you be able to find?

As you move near the basement, will you attempt to communicate with the terrifying dark entity that is known to make investigators highly uncomfortable and leave them shaking with uncontrollable fear?

The walls of this location are imprinted with a mixture of energies from it’s many uses throughout the years. When you join us for a night at Greenville Manor.
